Strange really as we’re not sure how long the bean will last for before it rots or maybe gets eaten by the dog. It’s a novel idea all the same and comes from We Are Social.
In order to drive awareness of the five varieties of beans contained in cans of FIVE Beanz We Are Social have created this new ‘name on a bean’ campaign where fans of the Heinz Beanz Facebook page can win one of these strange but novel gifts.
The bean with your name on it comes in a little box. We are not sure if they are cooked, fished out the tomato sauce or raw but we are banking on the raw and dried possibility.
Five Beanz, which hit stores in the U.K. next June. The contest includes a “Bean Personality” quiz that helps fans determine whether they’re a Pinto or a Borlotti, or if they lean more toward the Red Kidney, Borlotti or Cannellini varieties. Those who take it will enter a drawing to receive an engraved legume mascot. Every hour, Heinz will pick a winner from each bean category. The campaign will run for twelve days, through the rest of August, ultimately leaving 1,440 fans one bean richer.
