Steeped in preppy controversy the fashion world are trying their damnedest to get us back wearing and loving the polo shirt.
The polo shirt, with it’s rich history works perfectly for the heritage look and goes well with the boating shoes and slacks that have been in all summer but can we get over how much we hated them?
I for one still have a problem with the polo shirt. Firstly they are always cut like a box making them unflattering unless you are pretty trim and the collars just get in the way, they bunch up with jumpers, jackets, coats and more, being too small to get over the top collar and too big not to sit neatly under.
However I can’t discount the few men out there that have always and will continue to view the polo shirt as a wardrobe staple.
Whatever your views on them however they are flooding the high street with Superdry (R
Regent Street) being the latest to bring out a whole new range of the mixed emotion beauties ranging from £34.99-£39.99.
