In a move that isn’t disimilar to a scene from Charlie And The Chocolate Factory a London based communications has fitted the world’s first edible lift.
It took designers and technicians a month to work out the ins and outs of how it would work but now staff at central London agency Engine can travel between floors in a lift they can lick and nibble up. That’s because their new loft is made out of 1,325 McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes which have been stuck to the walls of the lift like wallpaper.
Talking about the new design Jaffa Cake chief Philippa Tilley said, ‘We are all about bringing a bit more fun to life. This was the perfect way to get a little joy straight to stressed-out office workers.’
What do you think of it? We can’t help but think it might be just a tad unhygienic and the man licking the chocolate layer in the picture is making us feel a bit ill but never the less it’s a pretty clever idea.
