Today is indeed World Zombie day so if you are wondering why there are a load of zombies rattling around the streets of London today that should answer the question for you.
All the zombie madness starts at 1pm today at Tate Modern and if you want to get involved there will be some zombifying help down there for those that are not quite undead yet.
Hundred of people are set to get all zombied up and wonder around the main streets of London being all zombie like for the biggest zombie pub crawl we have ever seen.
This event is a spin off from a similar zombie day outing that started in 2006 in Pittsburgh and will take willing zombies through central London’s best bars with everything coming to a flesh tearing climax of live music, burlesque and a screening of Shaun of the Dead at London’s Leicester Square Theatre
It is free to take part but if you manage to keep up the snarling, drinking and limping until the end the organisers will ask for a £2 charitable donation for entry into the final pub, plus £9 for the screening of Shaun of The Dead. If you want to buy your tickets for the screening now you can find them here.
All the while you will be in good, international company with World Zombie Day being celebrated in more than 50 cities worldwide including New York, Pittsburgh, Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Tokyo.
