Monkey Shoulder whisky have been busy transforming empty, disused spaces around London and turning them into entirely different drinking experiences for their latest series of events, aptly named For One Night Only.
Each week different whisky cocktails set the theme for the night; subverting all their connotations in a unique For One Night Only event that’s part art installation, part bar, part adventure playground for adults. They’ve been harnessing the power of London’s young creatives to celebrate classic whisky cocktails in the most unconventional ways imaginable- guests at The Manhattan night ended up mixing Big Apple cocktails in a New York Minute whilst wearing a cardboard cut-out NYC taxi cab!
This Friday night they’ll be celebrating the classic whisky cocktail, the Jockey Club. Saddle up your own hobby horse, place your bets and act like you were Made in Chelsea as you race around our custom made track. Gallop around and reward yourself with sugar cubes infused with different chocolate bitters. Monkey Shoulder cocktails will be served in the Winner’s Circle. Tickets are £20 to attend a session, but we have a number of pairs of tickets for the 9-11pm session to give away to Who’s Jack readers, simply email your entry to monkeyshoulder@anonymousartists.co.uk with the subject ‘Jockey Club’. Winners will be picked at random.
