What are you doing on the 30 September? If the answer isn’t ‘partying in Bethnal Green’ you need to do some serious diary rearranging.
That’s right on this day in the Oval Space it’s the last event of the year in the Secretsundaze series.
It’s been an amazing summer of Sunday sessions and live music and if you’re not prepared to move onto winter just yet, this Sunday is your last chance to carry on the summer party spirit.
From 2pm until 10.30 you can dance your socks off to the likes of Martyn, the Two Armadillos and John Heckle along with resident DJs Giles Smith and James Priestley.
East London is once again taken over by the best in dance music and if the so called Indian summer doesn’t actually happen, there will also be an inside area to shelter from the elements.
One of the main acts, Martyn, has been taking London by storm this summer with his DJ sets, which are heavy in techno and house.
You’ll also get a chance to experience the debut UK live set from the Two Armadillos – the lovely Giles Smith and partner Martin Dawson – who are set to be a treat after receiving some impressive praise from a host of different DJs and producers, including Nina Kraviz, Move D and Patrice Scott.
There’s also John Heckle who despite only being 23 has all the classic drum movements and synths to create an unforgettable afternoon.
Tickets are on sale at the Secretsundaze website (£9.50 – £17.50) but one lucky Who’s Jack reader can win a pair. To enter simple answer the following question by 5pm on Wednesday 26 September and send in your reply, along with your contact details, to tellus@whosjack.org.
Question: How old is John Heckle?
A: 19
B: 23
C: 29
Good luck!
