If you’ve spent your time watching films recently and thinking, ‘I’m sure I’ve seen this somewhere before’ that might well be because every film to be released this summer is basically the same.

When we first heard the argument for this theory we weren’t sure we agreed. How can Men in Black III, Ice Age 4, The Avengers and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol ever be compared to each other? But the video evidence above proves otherwise.

The ever-awesome guys over on Funny or Die have put together a video of clips from some of the summer’s biggest film releases and shows how many of their scenes are exactly the same to each other.
