When we noticed creepers coming back into fashion last year we have to say we were hoping they’d disappear just as quickly as they came back in but now Chanel has made sure that the creeper trend isn’t going anywhere.
Not content with single handedly bringing back the beauty spot Chanel also made sure that creepers were remaining fashionable for at least another season during their recent 2013 Cruise collection catwalk show.
Models were seen sporting metallic gold and white creepers, an opposing look to their pastel coloured hair and girlie catwalk outfits.
The creeper first became popular in the 70s when punks started wearing the stacked shoe as a sign of rebellion.
The look then had a bit of a resurgence in 2011 when high street stores like Topshop began selling leopard print and glossy black versions of the shoe now it looks like the trend is set to go a bit girlier and we predict high street stores will be stocking pastel creepers in their dozens any week now.
