As far as crazy fashion inventions go this just about tops the list as denim brand Naked & Famous launch their new scratch-and-sniff raspberry scented jeans.

Founded by Brandon Svarc Naked & Famous pride themselves on staying one step ahead of the fashion game employing a team of denim experts to reinvent new styles. The latest style to add to their ever growing collection are the Scratch-n-Sniff Raspberry Scented Denim for Spring/Summer 2012, a pair of indigo denim jeans that are infused with the smell of raspberry that is released when the denim is scratched.

Naked & Famous (who are nothing to do with the New Zealand based band of the similar name) already have an impressive roster of ‘out there’ designs under their belt and were the first people to invent glow in the dark denim so they’re no strangers to new ideas. But scratch and sniff jeans? We’re not convinced?
