It’s here already, I know, we can’t believe it either! But the Camden Crawl returns this weekend with a load of venues and a huge line up to keep you entertained for the May Bank Holiday. The question is with all the queues and walk between venues who should you prioritise? We’ve had a little look at the bill and these are our suggestions.
Sat
Foe : A feisty alt female singer that reminds us of the good old days of female grunge. Headlining the Drowned in Sound stage in The Black Cap, just after The Cribs.
Johnny Foreigner : Catch this upbeat load foursome on Saturday at the Underworld, 10.15pm.
Lady Leshurr : This lady has a lot of hype around her at the minute and if beats and female vocals is your thing then you won’t be disappointed.
Loverproof : Great female act who has a stunning voice and some Kate Bush / Florence similarities. 2pm at The Wheelbarrow
Theme Park : Another lot that have a lot of circulating interest around them at the moment, chilled out vibes for a great Camden Crawl evening – Dingwalls at 8pm
Sun
Random Impulse : We’re not sure where he is playing just yet or what time so you’ll have to look it up on your guides but he’s an energetic rap / guitar bundle not to be missed.
Lucy Rose : A ginger (so in right now) songstress from Warwickshire who’s just come off tour with Bombay Bicycle, like a liter Laura Marling – again this is one you’re going to have to remember to look up and she’s not released details of her allotted time or place yet.
Clock Opera : These boys will be at the Underworld on Sunday, they also play The Station Sessions in St Pancras Station, Kings Cross at 5pm today (Friday 4th)
