As the second track is released from new Bloc Party album, Octopus we are left pretty unsatisfied.

The newest track from Bloc Party, Day Four, sounds very similar to their 2008 track, Two More Years though without the extra omph.

It sounds to us like Bloc Party have got a little bored making their fourth and most recent album and decided to rest on their laurels somewhat too much. Many are saying that this is a strong track but we’re not so inclined to agree. We find it about as riveting as the album cover artwork and we’re just not as excited about Octopus any more after these two track releases – does anyone out there disagree?
