If you travel into work using the Bakerloo, District or Circle line then there’s a good chance that you had a less than enjoyable commute this morning.
The trouble, which is still going on now, started when tube signals failed at Temple and Westminster affecting two of London’s busiest lines in the morning, the District and Circle lines. Thousands of people were left stranded as tubes were forced to stop in tunnels leaving people running late for work.
And if that wasn’t enough to ruin and already miserable journey a third signal failure occurred over on the Bakerloo line leading to the line being suspended between Lambeth North and Elephant & Castle which of course affected the rest of the line too.
This is the second day in a row that those using the District service have had their journeys disrupted following issues on the line just yesterday.
Don’t forget if you were delayed more than 15 minutes this morning you can claim a refund over on the TfL website.
