To celebrate their more recent exhibition, Dirt, the Wellcome Collection are going to hold an event called Unclean Beings between 15 – 16 July.
The two day event will explore the power, politics and prejudice of grim with a series of tales of life and death from The Crick Crack Club as well as discussions on grime throughout history from speakers including Elizabeth Pisani and blogger Belle de Jour (the woman Secret Diary Of A Call Girl was based on).
Dirt opened on 24 March and explores the fascinating world of filth that remains one of the very last taboos and looks at our ambivalent relationship with dirt. The exhibition will be running until 31 August but if you want to head down to the Unclean Beings event then head to www.wellcomecollection.org to book your early bird tickets.
