Barclay Card want to treat people to a free lunch today and if you want to get involved you need to get yourself around Canary Warf, Liverpool Street or Oxford Circus.
They are promoting their new PayTag and there will be members of the Barclay team hovering around these locations ready to pay for your lunch via their mobiles.
Now we’re not suggesting by any means that you spot one, wrestle them to the ground and take them into the nearest Pret with you. Maybe just try hovering a litte near them, if possible make your stomach growl to gain their attention.
10,000 Londoners will get their lunch for free so it shouldn’t be too hard to get yourself included.
The image above is a piece of food art by Carl Warner to promote the offer, it features London’s best known monuments, The Gherkin, The Shard, The Olympic Stadium and Big Ben.
All food used was unwanted or past its sell by date and it took a total of five men 40 hours to create. The ingredients, if you want to try this at home were, 20kg of sea bass, 200 green beans, 140 cocktail sausages, 12 melons, 2 bags of pretzels and 12 cheese triangles.
