East London nail salon WAH Nails has long been one of our favourite places in the city and now they’re launching a new book celebrating some of their most interesting designs.
Nail art has earned a huge resurgence in 2012 with everyone who gives even the tiniest care for fashion having a go at trying to recreate some of the intrigate designs seen on catwalk models on their own nails. However when it comes to trend setting the nail art craze owes a lot to WAH Nails.
For the past few years celebrities, East Londoners and fashionistas alike have been flooding their shop space (which they share with the equally cool Bleach London hair salon) to, literally, get their hands on their new signs.
The new book has been put together by owner Sharmadean Reid and it features some of her favourite designs including Mondrian nails and Aztec tribal designs as well as step-by-step guides on how to create the looks yourself and interviews with advocates of WAH Nails such as fashion designer CASSETTE PLAYA.
WJ for one can’t wait to pick up a copy.
