Like drama and history? Fancy spending a night nosing around a perfectly preserved Victorian house in Holland Park? Well the Twilight Tour is definitely the ticket for you.
This tour is around a fantastic building complete with all of its original interiors and thought to be the best surviving late Victorian middle-class house in all of the UK. Once called home by Punch cartoonist, Edward Linley Sambourne, this historic property is in such good condition that it was also used as a location for the filming of ‘A Room with a View’ with Judi Dench.
18 Stafford Terrace is now owned by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and will be opened for who nights of tours around the house with a special performance by RADA students. Mulled wine and mince pies will add a little festive spirit to the evenings proceedings as drama taken from Sambourne family diaries is acted out.
This unique event is a completely original way to get into Christmas and the ultimate night out for anyone with a thing for history.
The Twilight Tour runs from the 11-12th of December with booking now open here.
