Clerkenwell based artist Vic Lee has been a busy bee recently knocking up this awesome new mural over in Walthamstow.
Part of a local project called Inside Out Lee was commissioned by Waltham Forest Council to create a piece of street art that celebrated the area.
The result is the piece shown above which has been inspired by local urban legends and ‘tall tales’ told to him by local residents and school children.
If you look closely at the piece you’ll notice stories about a baby Superman, horse thieves and several other fairly unbelievable but none-the-less entertaining stories.
Lee himself has long been inspired by London having previously created pieces inspired by areas such as Columbia Road, Broadway Market, Upper Street and Portobello Road so he was an obvious candidate for creating this piece.
