This year is a massive year for big blockbusters, Prometheus, The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man to name just a few but one that we think has unfairly been sitting in the shadows of these giants is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter which today has been given a new featurette.

Adapted from comedy horror writer Seth Grahame-Smith’s book of the same name Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has a hugely impressive crew ensuring it’s going to be one of the year’s biggest films. With Timur Bekmambetov taking on directing duties and Tim Burton himself as producer there’s no way this film could go wrong.

If you’re not already aware Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is being released in 2D and 3D and tells the untold story of one of America’s most famous presidents re-imaging his life as a secret vampire hunter.

Starring Benjamin Walker as the hunter himself as well as Dominic Cooper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anthony Mackie and Rufus Sewell the film is due for release on 2nd August.
