Hendricks is back for London Cocktail Week with another unusual and quirky event, The Unusually Literary Banquet.
Gin is very befitting to the literary theme as it has fueled many legendary writers over the years creating unforgettable characters and gripping plots.
Especially for London Cocktail Week (8th-14th October), Hendrick’s Gin & Chef Giorgio Ravelli from Upstairs at The Ten Bells explore the gin & writing marriage legacy with a culinary, literary and botanically-infused meandering through Gin in Literature.
On the 11th David Piper will take 40 guests all the way from James Bond and his love of the Martini through to David Copperfield’s Mr Micawber and his special spiced punch.
Guests will receive a banquet made by the special people at Upstairs and The Ten Bells and served in the authentic surroundings of the 18th Century public house that is The Ten Bells.
There will also be a number of novel libations created by Hendrick’s British Ambassador Duncan McRae, and all delicately interspersed & introduced with enlightening extracts from Dorothy Parker, Charles Dickens, Kingsley Amis and more.
Tickets to this Cocktail Week event are £60 per person for dinner, drinks and entertainment and there are 35 spaces available. Find tickets at the London Cocktail Week site.
