Tupac comes back from the grave in amazing hologram form to surprise fans at Coachella.
In what is surely a technological marvel for music, Tupac came on stage in perform with Snoop Dogg at Coachella last night. As well as Tupac Shakur Snoop got on stage Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa to be part of his Coachella 2012 set.
Tupac tragically died in a shooting around 15 years ago now to festival goers were stunned when he took to the stage large as life beamed down in hologram form much like the Gorillaz live sets but looking as real as ever.
The Holographic Tupac even greeted the crowd with a ‘What up, Coachella!’ The performance of course set Twitter ablaze with one viewer of the live Youtube Coachella feed Tweeting :
‘i can’t even begin to imagine what this Tupac hologram is doing to all the people at Coachella that have been on acid for 3 days straight,’ @JordanETID
It rises many questions being able to hologram up any singer or artist that anyone can afford onto the stage. Maybe next year we’ll see a hologram only tent full of artists that passed before their time.
Also we wonder who would own rights to hologram artists images? God knows.
