Here’s a trailer for This is 40, a new comedy that’s being hailed as a follow up to 2007′s Knocked Up. Although we say ‘follow up’ very loosely.

It seems there’s a new click in Hollywood town that’s mainly made up of Chris O’Dowd, Melissa McCarthy and anyone else who starred in Bridesmaids. Not only have they all got back together again to appear in Friends With Kids there’s also a couple of them floating around in this film too.

Also starring Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Megan Fox, Leslie Mann and Lena Dunham This is 40 is the story of a couple who are approaching the age of 40 and are struggling to cope, not only with their age but also with their married life, children and suburban life style.

This first trailer gave us a few chuckles but nothing that made us really excited about seeing it. That said, it looked harmless enough and if you did enjoy Knocked Up you’ll almost definitely find this film quite pleasing too.

Due for release on 14th February 2013 this is going to be the perfect romcom for single girls everywhere. Probably best to leave the guys at home though as it doesn’t have too much in it for them.
