This new film, cleverly titled ‘Ping Pong Film’ is set to make stars of some of the oldest ping pong players in the game.
New art short Ping Pong follows eight pensioners as they prepare for the World Table Tennis Championships in Mongolia.
Key characters are Inge (89) who uses the sport to help battle her dementia and Australian centurion Dorothy who is the oldest ever competitor. These two ladies are joined by a host of other elderly eccentrics that absolutely love to play ping-pong.
The film looks at growing old, looking back and making sense of things.
Ping Pong will be released in July.
