Back in January we showed you the first poster for Bradley Cooper’s new film, The Words and now we finally have the first trailer for you to enjoy.
Wow. What a way to start a Friday. The first trailer for The Words looks really, really promising and we’re actually pretty keen now to find out more.
As you can probably tell from the trailer Cooper plays a struggling writer who has run out of money and time to make something of himself. At his most desperate hour he discovers an old manuscript telling a story that he wishes he could have written himself. Deciding to pass the work off as his own he receives the critical acclaim he’s always dreamed of but it comes at a high price.
The Words is the directorial debut for Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal and from what we can tell in this trailer they’ve done a great job. Running the story of the modern day writer along side the story of the writer of the original manuscript could have been a tad confusing but it seems to flow really well.
There’s also a great supporting cast to look forward to including Jeremy Irons, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes and Dennis Quaid. While there’s no official UK release date at the moment we hope to be getting that very soon so we’ll update you as soon as we know.
