The last time velvet was in fashion was the mid-90s, but now it’s back as one of the biggest London fashion trends for Fall/Winter 2012, and we couldn’t be happier.  The high street have some great velvet designs all giving you that vintage inspired look.

These Topshop shorts on a night out with black tights and a crop top would look amazing!

There are a great selection of beautiful velvet shoes out at the moment, they make great winter shoes look good but might not be great practicality wise.  These are our favourites so far, Dr. Martens and Topshop included.

Velvet dresses are a massive trend this season.  There are a few different designs for velvet dresses, so there will no doubt be one you can fall in love with.

The peter pan collar is a big trend as well this season, so this and velvet incorporated in one outfit that will keep you looking stylish until summer comes back around.
