Here’s the first trailer for Ray Winstone and Plan B’s new film, The Sweeney.
Also starring Homeland actor Damien Lewis and Captain America actress Hayley Atwell The Sweeney is based on the 1970s TV show of the same name and focuses on members of the Flying Squad, a branch of the Metropolitan Police which specialises in tackling armed robbery and violent crime in London.
Directed by Nick Love The Sweeney is due for release in the UK on 12th September and sees Winston and Plan B (aka Ben Drew) going back to what they do best, gritty British films that focus on crime.
This isn’t the only film that Plan B is promoting at the moment, he’s making his directorial debut with new film, iLL Manors which he is releasing alongside an album of the same name later this Spring.
