Get involved in the superhero trend.
Films have always had a major influence on fashion, and the superheros in them are no different. With The Avenger, Spiderman and The Dark Knight Rises, all released this year it’s no wonder superhero chic has become a hit on the catwalk as well as at the cinema. It’s always great to see bright colours and bold patterns during the colder months, making your wardrobe a little less gloomy so we are welcoming this trend with open arms.
Lazy Oaf as you might have seen in one of our earlier posts has gone Batman crazy with new collaborators Warner Bros. They already have an established 90s clothing style, so Lazy Oaf have bought in some retro Batman motifs for this collection, starting with this Batman Logo Bodysuit for £45.
They have continued this look across womenswear, menswear and even some unisex pieces. This jumper with the same Bat Logo print is £80 for men.
If you’re looking for a less ‘in your face’ Batman look then Lazy Oaf have also designed a Batman Batwing Shirt for £60. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself, the whole Batman collection in fact is really fresh and fun.
Other ways to follow the Superhero trend include the cape, this American Apparel Fleece Cape for £54 comes in the classic Superman colours, blue and red, and gives you an everyday superhero trend look just don’t go thinking you have the power of invisibility at work.
One of the most popular superhero styles this season is the slogan t-shirt and jumper seen all over the high street. These two Primark jumpers are only £14 and are incredibly cute.
A more daring, Wonder Woman option are these All Over Sequin Star Knicker Shorts from boohoo for £20, showing the sexy side this highly fashionable look.
This new style is super fun, super bright and sometimes super sexy. As long as you’re not caught in a full blown Wonderwomen outfit at the office you aren’t breaking any fundamental fashion rules.
