If you’re one of the thousands of people who have been affected by the flood on the Central line over the past 24 hours you may be glad to know that Thames Water have explained what’s gone on.
Thames Water, who are responsible for two million litres of water flooding the East end of the Central line, have said that the incident happend because ‘the earth moved’ which to us sounds like a huge case of passing the buck.
Just a few months ago Thames Water were responsible for a section of Oxford Street shutting down when one of their mains burst and now the company, who have an imposed hosepipe ban running at the moment, have caused another huge F up in London.
Nearly a day after the flooding first occurred the Central line is still suspended between Bethnal Green and Leytonstone with many people facing travel chaos as they struggle to make it home tonight.
