This has to be our favourite story of the week. The South African president is currently trying to get a painting banned that depicts him with his penis on show.
The drama started earlier this week when Jacob Zuma discovered that artist Brett Murray was exhibiting a painting of him with his penis exposed in a local gallery. Entitled The Spear the piece is meant to be a satire of the power of politicians but it seems that Zuma didn’t see the funny side and is now in court trying to get the piece banned.
The weird thing is that the piece was actually vandalised in the gallery a couple of days ago and so has already been removed however Zuma, who has been president of the country for three years, and his advisors are doing everything in their power to ensure that the image is never seen in public again.
The image above gives you a look at the painting in all it’s glory so check it out for yourself.
