The Other Art Fair returns this May with a second and much larger instalment of ‘other’ art.
How the Other Art Fair works is unique, giving artists without gallery representation the opportunity to display their work and sell directly to the public all in one venue. At the last fair £120,000 changed hands! Many of the artists involved in the fair go on to get gallery representation afterwards meaning it’s a great place to pick up a new piece before someone blows up.
The Art fair is on the 10th May and this year has a larger selection of artists as well as aded interactive activities and it’s all housed in a much larger venue. Seeing as this is the Other Art Fairs second instalment in 6 months and that it has already had to up its size it’s clear that this is a great event that’s hugely popular.
Artists that appear at the fair are chosen by experts in the art field today, including acclaimed artist Chris Levine, collector Kenny Schachter and arts writer Francesca Gavin. Such rigorous selection ensures that visitors to the fair can purchase art with good market potential and could thus significantly increase in value.
This time the Other Art Fair is being held at Ambika P3, University of Westminster.
