The power of Twitter is being used by Olympic athletes to complain about messy rooms, missing kit and travel delays just 24 hours after they started arriving in the UK.

Now, we thought that Twitter was banned during the Games but it seems like that might just be for the staff as several athletes have taken to the site to make complaints.

It’s not good news for Olympic organisers who have already come under fire for not providing enough security during the games and for getting a coach full of athletes lost on the motorway for 4 hours just yesterday.

As well as complaints about messy rooms there’s also been complaints from those taking part in the Games (which kick off on 27th July) that their beds are too small.

If this is the type of backlash the Olympics are getting now imagine what it’ll be like when things officially kick off…
