The trailer has been released for Quentin Tarantino‘s new film, The Man With The Iron Fists.
It’s a strange mix of visual effects, Lucy Liu, Russel Crowe and kung Fu. Oh, and of course some iron fists.
The film is pitched as an action-adventure, martial arts film and is written by RZA and Eli Roth. It doesn’t seem however that the film is much about the story line. When you get a member of Wu Tang in to act you’ve kind of put that option to bed.
What looks vaguely worth a watch is the effects and fighting, as usual with Tarantino. Of course there is also your fair share of gore with scenes already being shown of blood washing about everywhere and the odd eyeball flying out of a face.
Other features in the film include Cung Le, Pam Grier, Byron Mann, Rick Yune, David Bautista, and Jamie Chung.
The official description of the film from Universal is “the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all.”
Currently however the film has no release date but it seems to have enough buzz to have got itself trending.
