Is it just us or are there a lot of wedding themed films about at the moment? The latest of the batch is the new film from Noel Clarke, The Knot, and you can check out the trailer above.

With a pretty strong cast including Talulah Riley, Jason Maza, Matthew McNulty and American Reunion actress Mena Suvari this comedy is being dubbed as the British Bridesmaids meets The Hangover although after watching the trailer we’re not sure we’d give it that much credit.

It’s a fairly uncomplicated looking film about a man and woman on their wedding day who happen upon several mishaps which means neither of them are likely to turn up for their big day.

Given that we usually really like the films Clarke puts his name to we’re not so sure that this one is going to turn out to be one of his best. The comedy is obvious at best and the storyline is just a bit done for our liking.

However we’ll let you be the judge and if you like what you see you can catch The Knot when it’s released on 5th October.
