America’s take on The Inbetweeners has been given a trailer and you can check it out above.

You may remember that a few weeks ago we showed you the first image from the US take on hit comedy show and film. To say the least the picture made us hide our hands in our face and cringe as the Americans tried to pull of the unique brand of UK geekyness that we do so well.

To be honest this trailer isn’t much better. The casting is terrible, the beauty of the British show is it’s simplicity but the casting crew have gone way OTT on this version.

As you’ll be able to see in the trailer that the US version have stuck very closely to the most famous scenes (e.g. the one where Will throws a frisbee at the girl in the wheelchair) but they’ve Americanised them a bit.

At the moment there’s no word on if the version will be shown here in the UK but for now we’re not convinced that’s a bad thing.
