Many of you probably used to draw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at school when you were little, there was a knack to it, the smaller horizontal elipse above the larger one and then filled in with the bandana between.
I could never get much further than that but this person clearly did as this is the first ever drawing of the heroes in their half shells and it’s currently up for sale.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic books were first published in 1984 and this drawing is from the year before when the turtles first came to life through the hands of Kevin Eastman.
Apparently Kevin first drew the foursome to amuse Peter Laird, a fellow creative.
However it came to life the picture is now up for sale at Heritage Auctions with a minimum price tag of $6,000 stuck on it.
So it just goes to show that a good life lesson is to always draw pictures to amuse your friends.
