It’s the moment that Batman fans have been waiting for, the first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson and Tom Hardy and is the final film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Although the teaser trailer is fairly short it definitely gives enough detail away to give fans of the films a real reason to be excited for the films release on 20 July 2012. The trailer shows Commissioner Gordon looking frail as he’s hooked on a life support machine trying to persuade Bruce Wayne to return to his duties of protecting Gotham City.
