Nearly five years after it was destroyed by a fire London’s Cutty Sark is set to reopen.
The 143-year-old historic ship is set to open again to the public on 26th April following a restoration project that cost £50million following a fire that caused an estimated £10million worth of damage. The Cutty Sark was originally due to reopen in 2010 but unforeseen delays meant that the opening was forced to be pushed back until this Spring allowing it to be open to tourists once the Olympic Games hit town.
