The Fiji Water Artesian Wonders (free London art walks) return this weekend on Saturday 17th November.
The latest FIJI & Le cool guided art tour covers Mayfair and your tour guide is Rob Woodford, a qualified taxi guide from Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, accredited by the City University. He’ll be there to add an authentic London voice to our cool Mayfair exploration!
You can have a festive wonder through Mayfair and take a look at the capital’s undiscovered waterscapes. The walk will uncover a very different side to one of London’s most desirable addresses; unearthing the history amongst Mayfair’s winding cobbled streets and smart townhouses.
Following the route of the long-hidden River Tyburn, and the tradition of previous Artesian Wanders, FIJI and le cool have hand-picked the hidden gems of the neighbourhood such as art galleries aplenty; boutiques which look like art installations; the pubs, coffee and foodie hang-outs best known to locals. And there will be plenty of tips on where to get your stocking fillers and more original Christmas gifts.
Compiled by le cool London editors, Josh Jones, Chloe McCloskey, Clare Considine, Delaina Haslam and SJ Boyd, this edition takes a printed format, with a handy map and key to the area – including, of course, where to hydrate with FIJI Water along the way (such as the health food mecca of Whole Foods, Piccadilly).
From 17th Nov the map will be available to collect for free from Everbean coffee shop, Postcard Teas or Sumaria Lunn Gallery. And if you pop into The Ronchini Gallery (22 Dering Street) to pick up your guide, you can nab a complimentary bottle of FIJI Water for the walk ahead (til 17th Dec).
