Here’s the new trailer for yet another found footage film, The Addicted.

Found footage has really had a resurgence over the past few months with a number of films being given the Blair Witch Project treatment to add that spooky effect to them.

The latest film to fall foul of the age-old cinema trick is The Addicted, a film about a would be TV journalist who decides to pay a visit to an abandoned addiction clinic for a documentary she is making.

What she doesn’t know is that 25 years ago while the clinic was still functioning a deranged doctor kept one of his patients, David, addicted to drugs while he carried on with his wife. After months of torture the doctor kills David by poisoning him with some toxic heroine which leaves his corpse damaged and scarred.

Of course the journalist who pays the building a visit isn’t in for a quiet nights documentary making. She is instead haunted and scared beyond belief by David’s ghost and the demons that still lurk in the building.

The Addicted certainly looks suitably scared but it’s not the most original idea by an absolute long shot so you’ll probably only enjoy it is you like fairly predictable horror stories however for those of you that do the trailer is above for your viewing pleasures.
