Music fans who headed to Isle of Wight yesterday were met by down pours and mud as far as the eye could see. The weather was so bad in fact that the camp sites have become clogged with water and mud and people were forced to sleep in their cars over night outside the site. (Here)
Driving licenses get patriotic:
Driving licenses given to new drivers are set to get a bit of a patriotic make over. From 2015 the licenses will feature either the Union Jack or the Royal crest rather than the EU flag. The changes are being implemented by David Cameron who said it was to stop Britons thinking Europe were interfering with our country. (Here)
Bus strike kicks off & TfL come under fire:
As thousands of bus drivers walked out this morning for their planned strike TfL have come under fire for making things even harder for London commuters. Not only was the London Overground service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction suspended but a bus broke down in Leyton and the TfL bus checker section of their website crashed. (Here)
