It was met with mixed reviews, some thought it was hilarious some thought it didn’t live up to the hype but whatever you’re opinion Universal are going ahead and making a Ted sequel.

Ted 2 was announced this morning alongside another new installment of the Bourne franchise by the picture house. The idea is to build on their franchise output turning even more films into sequels. The news was broken during a film conference during which they also hinted that another American Pie film could be on its way.

However we can’t be the only ones getting a bit bored at sequel after sequel being announced this year? We’ve lost count of the number of sequels, prequels and remakes that have been put into production in 2012 however we’re sure it’s must be in the thousands. From Sin City to Top Gun, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc and Dumb & Dumber we’re bored already.
