The good people over at Tate gallery have been busy recently putting together a series of videos profiling inspirational artists and their latest effort is all about Frank Bowling.
The latest TateShot looks at the life and works of contemporary artist Bowling who has studied alongside the likes of David Hockney.
Born in Guyana the video concentrates on Bowling’s move from Figuration to Abstraction and his move from London to New York City. The video also highlights Bowling’s latest exhibition at Tate Britain, Poured Paintings which is on now and runs until February 2013.
