We all know that if you look hard enough London has a huge amount of different organised walks you can go on, from roof top walks to ghost tours there’s something for everyone but here’s one with a different. Protest group Occupy London are organising a series of walks to try and educate people on what they are protesting against.
Kicking off this Saturday (28th January) the first walk will be centred around Mayfair or Hedge-Fund Alley as it is also known to see where they believe the destruction of our economy began. Other walks will take you to financial capitals such as Canary Wharf where today you can discover ‘the story of the financial crisis in some of the places where it all happened.’
If you want just meet outside the relevant tube stations (for Mayfair they’re meeting at Green Park) and look out for an Occupy London spokesperson who will apparently be holding an umbrella.
