The line up for this year’s Summer Series at London’s Somerset House has been announced this morning but while there’s some good names on there in general it’s failed to excite us.
The annual Summer Series events pulls in some of the biggest names in music who night after night play live sets in the beautiful grounds of Somerset House. In the past they’ve seen performances from the likes of Amy Winehouse, PJ Harvey and Florence and the Machine and the event always draws huge crows.
This year the Summer Series line up includes performances from Paloma Faith, M83, The Temper Trap, The Enemy, Katy B, Tindersticks, Jill Scott, Anna Calvi and musical comedian Tim Minchin.
Kicking off on 7th July and running through to 17th the event will also see not one, but two nights with American singer, actress and poet Jill Scott.
If you’re thinking of heading down but want to do it in style for the first time this year the Summer Series are offering Premier Tickets which for an additional £25 (plus booking fee, obviously) you’ll receive free beer, wine and soft drinks and access to the Fernandez & Wells bar and cafe where you can buy food throughout the concert.
Tickets start at around £15 and you can get yours by clicking here.
