A leather-jacketed figure strides through a gaping, ragged hole in a building, a futuristic rendition of London’s skyline arrayed before him. Even the Gherkin has survived the test of time, at least according to the artists behind this pretty epic poster for Star Trek Into Darkness.
J.J. Abrams‘ upcoming sci-fi sequel is building on the strong foundations laid by the original and it’s safe to say that most Trekkies, and even those of us who aren’t devotees of this particular franchise, are getting rather excited ahead of its May 2013 UK release.
Plus for all of us here at Who’s Jack, it’s nice to see London featured prominently in a major Hollywood movie, even if it won’t be the film’s primary setting.
