Building of the new Crossrail is well under way with tunnels being dug as we speak to connect our city even further.

These are the pictures of the current tunnelling that is going on curtsey of Crossrail. It all looks pretty major and reminds us of that film Daylight.

The tunnelling only started on the 28th February and they are already this far down! The tunnel goes 26 miles through underground London.The £14 billion rail project will join Maidenhead with Heathrow and Shenfield to Abbey Wood.

It is a pretty large feat of engineering and is making lot of jobs for us Londoners which is great.
