Don’t panic, it’s a pop up!
Smithfield Market has played host to a zombie themed meat pop up for the release of the latest Resident Evil game.
The market shop went by the name of Wesker & Son with promoters even hinting at the narrative of this fictional butchers quoting “Fine meats since 1966″ on their website.
But what was on sale? Well the average meat you get in supermarkets had been fashion into various body parts with the help of what looks like parma ham. Lucky punters could grab “feet” for £6.00 and “hands” for £5.99 and we’ve got to admit they looked pretty cool.
The butchery pop up was open for two days bringing zombie fans and gaming geeks together to promote Resident Evil 6, with all proceeds from the sold meat going to a UK charity the Limbless Association.
We just wonder if any veggies went…
