Twitter users all over the world have been left shocked after a brand was named and shamed for their ‘sexist’ washing instructions on their trousers yesterday.
The storm started when Twitter user Emma Barnett tweeted a picture of the washing instructions which read ‘Give it to your woman, it’s her job’ and it wasn’t long before the picture went viral and angry ladies everywhere were calling for the fashion brand to be revealed.
The fashion brand offending everyone so much turned out to be UK brand Madhouse however many are now sceptical that the whole thing could have been a very clever publicity stunt on the brands part. While some took to Twitter to blast the label saying things like ‘How dare #Madhouse this is 2012 not 1950′s!’ others were a bit more cynical believing it was just a move to get the brand a bit more PR.
