Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World is one of the films that we’re most excited about seeing this summer and now it’s been given a brand new TV spot trailer.

For those already not in the know Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World stars an unlikely pairing of Keira Knightley and Steve Carell as they prepare, along with the rest of the world, for an astroid to hit earth and wipe out humanity as they know it.

Now a film about the world ending should technically be a rather dark and miserable affair but it looks like this film is going to be really rather funny. As always Carell excels at delivering dead pan comedy while Knightley looks like she’s going to make a very agreeable leading lady.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World is released in the UK on 13th July and we really, really recommend you go and see it.
