For it’s 40th anniversary edition W Magazine has really gone all out with a number of different cover options starring Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, Mia Wasikowska and Ronney Mara.

All the stars were styled in full on 70s 80s and 90s and 00s one era and look for each decade that W Magazine has been around. The Hollywood starlets looked almost unrecognizable in some highly stereotypical make up to mark each decade.

This large bumper edition of W Magazine will come out in the UK on October 23rd.

They are almost hard to recognise, Keira Knightley largely so with her peroxide short hair and feature eyebrows.
