Saul Ashby performed at the ‘Sebright Arms’ in Hackney last night , the perfect venue for his single release party.

The intimate East-end venue was buzzing with excitement as Saul and his band took to the stage to deliver a tight and energetic performance. Song after song, hook after hook; Saul’s presence and charisma kept the audience hanging on to his every word.

Saul seemed to be enjoying his release party as much as the rest of us; he plowed through his set and danced to his hearts content. His performance of a new song, ‘Animal instinct’,  even provoked the audience into an attempted sing-a-long  (although it was probably the first time they had ever heard it).

After performing the song of the night ‘Debutantes’, he went on to explain that ‘London is a Crime Scene’ could be his next release, and judging by the crowd’s reaction- this would be very a good idea!
